The pool was nice to have as a way to cool off after busy and hot days. It was easy to walk to Fiesole via a trail behind the hotel. The views from that trail are really beautiful. The room was a good size and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. The breakfast buffet was huge and included a big variety of breakfast options. The staff was friendly and attentive.

Location and view over Florence was magnificent. Staff was very friendly and paid attention to all our needs from reception to main manager of the hotel. In particular we want to express our gratitude to manager of gourmet restaurant Nicola where we had our breakfast, sometimes lunches and dinners. He was quick to attend to all our requests and very helpful in all respects. During a day when he had a rest we felt that something was missing. Fine dining restaurant is also addition to this hotel to experience art of chef Antonello.

The staff in the hotel was super nice and friendly all around: the reception, the breakfast staff, even the cleaners were always smiling and friendly. The view to Florence was just gorgeous – it looked like a painting. Room was good, bed nice and comfortable. The bathroom/shower were the highlight of the room. Breakfast was quite good but nothing special, same stuff every morning.

The hotel surpassed our expectations with its cleanliness, comfort, and peaceful atmosphere. The Michelin star restaurant was a standout—breakfast was outstanding, the snacks were delightful, and the cocktails were top-notch. I highly recommend trying the club sandwich and cheesecake. The staff were exceptional—professional, kind, and welcoming. A special thanks goes to Nicola, who assisted us throughout our three-day stay. His warm attitude and clear passion for his work made every interaction a pleasure. Thank you, Nicola, for making our stay truly memorable and always bringing a smile to our faces. 🙏🏽 We hope to see you soon 💗

Excellent, professional staff. We arrived late on a Saturday. We asked the concierge about a recommendation for a casual meal and he recommended a wonderful pizzeria not too far away. Because it was late and kitchens at restaurants would soon close, he phoned ahead for us. Wonderful pizzeria with fine service; just what we were looking for. All other staff were equally professional, and the breakfast was excellent. (I seem to recall a comment or two from a reviewer some years ago that the breakfasts lacked variety. Not at all our experience. The breakfasts were excellent with huge variety. You can even have it “al fresco” and enjoy the view over Florence). In short, wonderful stay in a comfortable room (great bed) with exceptional staff.

A stunning property with beautiful views of Florence! The staff were very friendly and so helpful. The buffet breakfast was included and was excellent! The dinners on the terrace were so good, with beautiful views. Wonderful service there too! The bed was very comfortable, and beautiful view from our room window too. Not far to Fiesole , which was lovely town! It’s about 1 km away, we walked one afternoon - uphill and have to take care to stay to side as no sidewalks until closer to town, but can easily take a bus or taxi. An easy bus ride or taxi into Florence too! The pool was a welcome amenity to use after a long day in town. Would definitely come back to this gorgeous property!

Wonderful, exceptional service throughout our stay. Breakfast rooms were overlooking the beautiful view of Florence; there were many delicious choices with two chefs and several servers for requests. Niccolo was very friendly, outgoing, and made suggestions for things we could do. He certainly went beyond expectations in making us feel welcome. All of the staff was friendly and offered assistance During our stay.

It’s in a very nice location overlooking Florence, and the staff are very nice and attentive. The rooms are clean.

Great view of Florence from Hotel property. Super location. You can take Bus #7 into the historic area of the Florence in about 20 minutes. They have parking onsite but it's not unlimited so make sure that you reserve a spot. Good breakfast.
